Rocklin, California: Our latest customer had called us a week in advance to help protect the Tesla Model S he purchased recently. Our customer's priority, when it comes to the protection and aesthetics of his Tesla, was to have us install a PPF on the front of the car while also deleting all the chrome pieces by using a black vinyl wrap. 

We started the PPF installation and chrome delete process by passing the Tesla Model S through a rigorous rinseless wash and inspecting the surface to observe defects on the painted and chrome surfaces. After the wash, we conducted a clay bar treatment on all painted surfaces which helped remove all above-surface contaminants to leave a pristine finish. After the clay bar treatment, our technicians wiped the entire car with a diluted alcohol solution which removed any residue and soaps and exposed the bare painted panels of the vehicle. 

After the cleansing process, we bulk cut and installed the paint protection film on the hood with enough overhang to allow a full and clean tuck to hide all the edges of the film. Alongside the film install, we cleansed all the chrome pieces and precariously installed, tucked, and sliced vinyl to blacken out the chrome pieces of the Tesla Model S. 

We continued to install the paint protection film on the front bumper, headlights, and back of the mirror of the Tesla Model S. The longest part of the job entailed chrome deletion around the emblems and slicing away all the letters. At the end of the long day, we were able to completely delete all the chrome, slide out the chrome lettering and emblems, and provide complete paint protection film coverage on the front of the Tesla.

The customer was blown away by our work in transforming his Tesla Model S into a vehicle that he aesthetically enjoyed.
