California winter, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area, can bring its own challenges when it comes to maintaining your vehicle since California’s landscape is so diverse with expansive highways and outdoor vacation spots with rain, snow, and sap from tree tops, which can cause rapid deterioration of the vehicle’s paint, aging the vehicle, and reducing the resale cost down the road. Our Fairfield customer had purchased a new Toyota Land Cruiser and wanted us to give it the ultimate 10-year graphene coating protection at his home. We started the installation process by first washing the vehicle using our signature foam cannon wash to remove any dirt and debris. We then used high-GSM microfiber ultra-plush drying towels to dry the vehicle while using an air blower to remove water from crevices. Once the vehicle was completely washed, we inspected the surface for any major imperfections. After observing that the paint was free of any above-surface contaminants, we skipped the clay bar treatment and proceeded to polish the vehicle to drastically enhance the gloss of the vehicle, deep clean under the vehicle’s surface, and prime the paint for proper coating adhesion.

Finally, we cleansed the surface with a detox treatment to remove any polishing residue while adding a catalyst that would enhance the professional coating bond. We then installed our pro-grade 10-year graphene coating on the painted surfaces, wheels, polycarbonates(lights), and glass surfaces, thereby giving the Toyota Land Cruiser the ultimate bumper-to-bumper protection against all environmental contaminants.
