Black Lexus G550 Full Front Paint Protection Film (PPF), Door Wrap, and 5-Year Ceramic Coating Results

Napa, California: Our latest customers from Marin County are avid fans of outdoor excursions and travel so they wanted to give their new Lexus G550 the ultimate protection against environmental mechanical, and chemical damage. Therefore, they decided not only to have the front of their vehicle wrapped but also to have the side doors wrapped as well.
We began the wrap process by first washing the vehicle and then applying a clay bar treatment to remove any surface contaminants. The biggest challenge we faced was that the new Lexus G550 has way too many crevices which, despite the constant pressure blasting, had captured debris and dirt that would constantly get underneath the film.
After the surface decontamination and clay bar treatment, we inspected the surface to find any imperfections, surface-level issues, or any residue from the dealership adhesives. Once we had cleansed the surface thoroughly, we started applying the paint protection film to the vehicle, starting from the hood and then the fenders, doors, and finally the bumper and mirrors.
Finally, we installed a 5-year silicon dioxide-based ceramic coating on the vehicle and let the vehicle sit in the shop for a day to ensure that the film edges would stay down and the coating would harden, especially since the installation of the film and coating was around rainy weather at that time.
Overall, the vehicle looked exceptionally glossy and would continue to look like new for years to come, giving our customers peace of mind.
