Napa, California: Our return customer had told us months in advance that he was going to buy a new Porsche and have us wrap it. Therefore, when he actually got his Porsche 911, he brought it to our shop immediately to get it wrapped and protected. In this case, we decided to give the vehicle a custom bulk-cut install to provide the paint with the maximum protection it needed.

We started the installation by first washing and using a clay bar on the vehicle to get rid of any above-surface contaminants. After the wash and clay bar, we then cleansed the surface using a detox treatment to get rid of any residues, oils, and soaps. Once the surface of the Porsche was squeaky clean, we then wrapped the hood, bumper, and fenders of the Porsche using our standard 10-year paint protection film. Our 10-year paint protection film is 8 mils thick and completely self-healing which is adequate protection for vehicles that are used for commuting or will be used as garage queens.

It is important to note that we also installed paint protection film (PPF) on the side skirts of the Porsche 911 which is an area that gets bombarded by rocks and kick-up from the ground due to the low ground clearance of the Porsche.

Additionally, we also installed paint protection film on the back fender area of the Porsche which is another high-traffic point of contact that gets bombarded with dirt, debris, and rock chips due to the low ground clearance and sizable wheels of the Porsche.

Overall, the customer was incredibly happy with the results of the install and now the Porsche 911 had the ultimate protection against side and frontal mechanical damage.
