Santa Rosa, California: Though Bay Area winters aren’t as harsh as some other parts of the country, many Californians commute long distances on highways for work or regularly take road trips to areas that can have heavy snow, contaminants, and other forms of environmental contaminants that can quickly erode the vehicle. Therefore, getting a ceramic or graphene coating on your new vehicle can be the best decision in the lifecycle of your vehicle.

Our customer had hired us to install a ceramic coating at his home and we decided to offer our 5-year Graphene coating so that he could protect his new Lexus 450H against all environmental contaminants such as bird bombs, sap, pollen, and industrial fallout while making cleaning and maintenance a breeze.

We started the coating installation by first washing the vehicle using our signature ceramic foam wash that ensured the surface would be cleaned without causing any scratches and swirls. We then dried the vehicle using a combination of a car blower and a high-GSM microfiber drying cloth that left the surface sparkling clean. After the wash, we performed a clay bar treatment to get rid of all above-surface contaminants that could cause issues with the coating adhering to the surface of the vehicle.

We then did a one-step polishing and paint correction to get rid of any below-surface contaminants, very fine swirls, and overall prime the surface for proper coating adherence. Finally, we performed a detox treatment on all surfaces that would be coated and then installed our pro-grade graphene coating on all painted surfaces, polycarbonates(lights), front glass, and the face of the wheels.

The customer was extremely happy with the results and now the new Lexus NX450H was ready to take on the California winters, long highway commutes, and the occasional trips to the great California outdoors!
