Due to their design, Teslas can be prone to taking frontal damage and can chip very easily which is why our current customer from Napa decided to bring his new Tesla Model Y to our shop to have it wrapped and coated.

We started the wrap and coating job by first washing the vehicle using our signature graphene foam cannon wash to get rid of all dirt and debris from the vehicle. We then dried the vehicle with high-GSM ultra-plush microfiber towels to ensure that the surface was squeaky clean before we even touched the vehicle. After the wash, we performed a clay bar treatment to remove any above-surface contaminants from the vehicle.

Finally, we then installed clear paint protection film on the Tesla’s bumper, hood, fenders, back of the mirrors, and headlights. It is important to note that we did a custom bulk cut install on this Tesla which provided superior coverage and protection to the vehicle with a seam-free install.

After installing the paint protection film, we then detoxed the entire vehicle using a detox treatment that stripped the vehicle’s surface of all oils and soap residue while prepping the surface for proper coating bond. Then we sectionally installed a 10-year graphene coating to the paint, wheels, front and top glass, and polycarbonates(lights). The coating was also applied on top of the paint protection film as well.

Overall, this combination of paint protection film on the front of the Tesla Model Y protected rock chips, scrapes, light dings, and scratches while the graphene coating would provide protection against all chemical damage such as tree sap, overspray, bird bombs, pollen, and industrial fallout.
